Apple is preparing to mark the 20th anniversary of the iPhone in 2027 with a bold new design, according to a report from Bloomberg.

The upcoming model, expected to be called the iPhone 20, will feature curved glass edges on all sides, embracing a new “Liquid Glass” design philosophy tied to future versions of iOS. The overhaul will mirror the significance of the 2017 redesign, when Apple introduced the iPhone X with an all-screen display, a notch, and no physical home button to celebrate the device’s 10th anniversary.

Before the anniversary model arrives, Apple reportedly plans to launch its first foldable iPhone in 2026. Bloomberg noted that the company is developing new display technology for the foldable device, with a focus on minimizing or eliminating the crease that typically mars foldable screens.
