AI startup Anthropic has raised a massive $13 billion Series F, boosting its valuation to $183 billion. The round, co-led by Iconiq, Fidelity, and Lightspeed, also drew backing from major investors including BlackRock, Qatar Investment Authority, and Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan.

The company says the funds will fuel enterprise adoption, expand international operations, and deepen AI safety research. CFO Krishna Rao called the financing a show of “extraordinary confidence” in Anthropic’s growth, with annual recurring revenue climbing from $1B to $5B in 2025.

Anthropic now serves 300,000 business customers, with large enterprise accounts up nearly 7x in the past year. Its developer tool Claude Code already generates over $500M in run-rate revenue, growing 10x in the past three months.
