Waymo is expanding to Denver and Seattle, bringing both its Jaguar I-Pace SUV and Zeekr van to the cities this week. The vehicles will be manually driven at first, with autonomous testing to follow.
The company aims to launch robotaxi trips in Denver in 2026 and in the Seattle area once permitted, testing its self-driving tech in snow, rain, and wind, conditions less common in Phoenix and other markets.

The expansion adds to Waymo’s 2,000-vehicle U.S. fleet, which already operates in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Austin, and Atlanta, with upcoming launches planned in Dallas, Miami, and Washington, D.C. Waymo has also secured approval to begin testing in New York City and continues short-term road trials in other cities.
