Adobe is set to launch Premiere for iPhone on September 30, now available for preorder on the App Store. The mobile app brings core editing tools like trimming, layering, frame adjustments, 4K HDR support, and automatic captions with stylized subtitles.

Powered by Firefly AI, users can generate images, audio, and video from text prompts, while features like Enhance Speech reduce background noise in recordings. The app also integrates Adobe Stock assets and Lightroom presets.

Premiere for iPhone will be free, with extra costs for AI credits and cloud storage. An Android version is in the works.

The move comes as Adobe competes with rivals like Meta’s Edits and Captions, both targeting TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts creators.
