Apple is reportedly in discussions with Google to use its Gemini artificial intelligence technology as part of a major overhaul of Siri, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The talks come as Apple faces mounting pressure to keep pace with rival AI assistants.

Apple has also explored similar partnerships with OpenAI and Anthropic but has yet to settle on a direction. Sources say Google has already started training a model that could potentially run on Apple’s servers.
