New York-based sleep technology startup Eight Sleep has raised $100 million in a fresh funding round backed by HSG, Valor Equity Partners, Founders Fund, Y Combinator, and notable athletes including Ferrari F1 driver Charles Leclerc and McLaren CEO Zak Brown.
Founded in 2014, Eight Sleep has now raised around $260 million total and says its valuation has doubled since its last round in 2021. The startup has generated over $500 million in Pod sales, recorded more than one billion hours of sleep data, and expanded its revenue tenfold since 2019. Eight Sleep is now rolling out its Sleep Agent, an AI system that creates digital twins of users to proactively optimize recovery and health.
