Fashion resale marketplace Poshmark has announced a leadership transition, with founder and CEO Manish Chandra stepping down after nearly 15 years. Namsun Kim, executive chairman since April and president of investments at Poshmark’s parent company Naver, will take over as CEO.
Chandra co-founded Poshmark in 2011 in a Silicon Valley garage, steering it from startup to IPO and through its 2022 acquisition by Naver. Under his leadership, the platform has grown to 150 million users. He will remain on the board of directors.
In a farewell email to the Poshmark community, Chandra called leading the company “the greatest honor of my professional life,” thanking users for their trust, creativity, and contributions.

Kim has been working alongside Chandra since early 2025 to ensure a smooth transition. His appointment marks a new chapter for Poshmark as it continues to expand in the competitive fashion resale market.
